Arrival procedure
- Passport control: present your passport and visa (electronic, linked to the passport); fingerprints may be taken.
- Baggage claim, then customs: carry no prohibited items and declare cash above the allowed limit (SAR 60,000 or equivalent under Saudi rules).
- Exit: meet your company representative, or head to the train station or official taxi ranks.
Airport tips
- Keep your Ihram garments in hand luggage if you'll enter Ihram on the plane.
- Zamzam: official 5-litre Zamzam cartons travel as checked baggage on return flights, per each airline's policy.
- Buy a Saudi SIM at official airport outlets with your passport.
